"My Peace" is a 1961 Sanger Ski Hydro. It is one of seven original prototype hydros built by Jack Davidson (Sanger Boats), and a sister boat to White Mist. It was originally sold in Paso Robles, CA, with a Cadillac engine and pearl white color. The second owner was Jerry Wildman, whose father owned the local Cadillac dealership. Jerry replaced the Cad engine with an early 396 big block Chevy. For some time, he ran it with the wrong rudder on it, using a short one from a flatbottom. This would result in the boat turning sideways at 90. The short rudder was used because the proper rudder would drag the ground on the original trailer. Jerry sold the boat to another friend who put the 70s style blue and checkers paint job on it. It was later sold to Mike McCain.

It was purchased in 1976 by Jon Sibbach, who used it as a ski boat at Lake Nacimiento for many years. In 1984 it was torn down for restoration, which was completed in 1991. The restoration included new stringers by Dave Miller and new white gelcoat by Rainbow Automotive. The boat now sports a 468 BBC built by Milt Dunovan and a Turbo 400 transmission by Art Carr, driving a 3-blade Cleaver prop.

It was used as a family ski boat for many years, but is currently being re-restored for competition in the NJBA River Racer class.
